NextGen Energy Program Virtual Campus Briefing

Description: On May 6, 2021, the University of Maryland’s Division of Administration hosted a campus briefing to share an overview of the NextGen Energy Program, a plan to replace, renew and modernize our aging campus energy system. Carlo Colella, Vice President & Chief Administrative Officer; Charles Reuning, Associate Vice President & Chief Facilities Officer; and Scott Lupin, Director of the Office of Sustainability, talked about how NextGen will support President Pines’ recently accelerated goal to make our campus carbon neutral by 2025 and play a critical role in ensuring that everyone in the University of Maryland community can depend on its energy systems for decades to come.
